Kiara Whitfield of Flint has been selected as the
Judge Marable's Student of the Month for September 2006.

Kiara, 16 is a tenth grader at Central High School in Flint. Kiara is looking forward to a career as a lawyer or judge. Her extra-curricular activities include participating in the School After School program at the Sylvester Broome Center. Her interests include going to the movies, writing poetry,
and spending time with friends and family. She attends North Star Missionary Baptist Church.

Mariah Humphrey of Flint has been selected as the
Judge Marable's Student of the Month for October 2006.

Mariah is a tenth grader at Northern High School in Flint . Mariah is looking forward to a career as a nurse. Her Activities include helping others, dancing and modeling. She is a member of the dance team at Church of the Trinity in Flint.

MARK METZ
(November 2006)

Mark Metz of Flint has been selected as the
Judge Marable's Student of the Month for November 2006.

Mark is a tenth grader at Luke M. Powers High School. Mark aspires to be a stockbroker. He is a member of his school junior football, basketball, and baseball teams. He participates in the Spanish Club at Powers. In addition to being an avid golfer, he plays the guitar and piano. He is a member of Flushing United Methodist Church.

EQUAN BRACY

Equan Bracy of Flint has been selected as the
Judge Marable's Student of the Month for December 2006.

Equan, 16, is a tenth grader at Flint Southwestern Academy.
Equan is looking forward to a career as a lawyer and judge. His extra-curricular activities at school include playing on the varsity football team, playing basketball, and he is involved with track and field. He plays saxophone in the marching band. He was accepted into the Youth Leadership Institute, The National Student Leadership Conference, and the Lead America Conference.

Christian Gordan of Flint has been selected as the
Judge Marable's Student of the Month for January 2007.

Christian, 15, is a tenth grader at Beecher High School. Christian aspires to be an automotive engineer. He is a member of the Beecher Scholarship Incentive Program, and the Wade H. McCree I.S.P.
He enjoys participating in community service activities and volunteers at the Salvation Army. His interests include reading, studying and video games. He was recently nominated for the Summer Youth Initiative program.
